Car Insurance Nissan (Car Insurance). Can I make a dealership buy back my car?

Can I make a dealership buy back my car? I bought a 2006 Mustang a year ago from a used car dealership here in Reno NV. At the time everything was great. Everything was in line with the contract and the bank. Come a year later when it was time to register the car again; a smog was required. The car was 'rejected.' Four times. I had a feeling it had something to due to a possible custom tuning to the vehicle computer, which I did not do. Hence it was done prior to me buying the car. I took it to a local performance shop and sure enough, there is a custom tune on the car making the car be rejected at a smog check. With this custom tune there is no way it would have passed smog legitimately. Like I said before, when I bought the car everything was in line including the required smog check, which I now believe was falsified. Would this false smog constitute as "false representation" giving me the right to have the dealership buy back the car?

No. You weren't worried about the custom tuning and the smog check when you bought it, so you have noone to blame but yourself for not getting it checked out and making sure it passed before the purchase. I would check out the Nevada state lemon laws. You'd have to take them to court for selling you a "lemon car." Nope. All used cars are sold AS IS. Yes you can. No, If you purchased the car As Is... no. Nope. You can't "make" them do anything. Used cars are sold "as is". Prove it. It could be false representation, fraud, inspection tampering, negligence, maybe other charges. NOOO you can not because you had brought the car and had it over a year !!! they dont have to take it back ,, but if they want to they can! probably not- but I would go over the contract you received and signed when you bought the car. Did the dealer give any warranty with the car. Before you bought the car did you have it checked out.

Nissan . Chevy Door Removal

A Chevy has an interior door panel that is removed using a few special tools. The door is made of plastic and is attached to the door frame by pins. In addition, there are several parts that must be taken off prior to removal. The entire door itself is removed by taking apart the hinge assembly. This is a task for an experienced mechanic or the beginner who has some knowledge about cars.
Door Panel Removal
To remove the door panel, take off the existing window handles and window latches first. Remove the window handle using a special tool with a pronged head. Slide the prongs under the handle base and pry upwards until the pin clip pops off. Then remove the entire assembly. Loosen any visible screws around the door handle, and pry off the plastic molding. If there are additional handles or arms attached to the door frame, pull these off as well.
Additional Removal
Pull-arms are the arm-rest handles on the side of many Chevy pickups. To remove these, you will need a Phillips head screwdriver. Loosen the two screws on the top inside grip of this item. Now remove the screws and pull the handle forward until in pops off. Plastic panels are also installed on the door panels. These cover the area near the windows towards the front of the vehicle in most pick ups and SUVs. Pry these off using a small pry bar with a flat head.
Door Hinge Removal
A door hinge attaches the door to the frame of the car. Remove this by first opening the door. Then locate the mounting bolts and pins. Remove the door hinge pin by tapping the pin with a hammer and pushing it through the slot. Once the pin is removed, the door will slide off the hinge. However, there is nothing supporting it, so it will fall. Prop the door onto a support like a jack. Or attach the door frame to a hoist and suspend it in place while you work on the hinge.

Nissan . How to Replace Chevy Pickup Door Panels

The door panels on your Chevy pickup truck act as both safety cushions for the driver and passengers, and they protect all the components within the door such as wiring and the windows. If the door panels become worn out or otherwise damaged, replacing them will improve this protection. It can also make the truck look better on the inside. Make sure you get a replacement door panel that will fit your particular year and model of Chevy truck.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Hooked tool
Trim stick
Phillips screwdriver
Door panel
Shop rag (optional)

Step by Step :
1
Disconnect the negative battery cable by loosening the nut on its cable clamp. This is necessary if the door uses power windows and/or locks. There can still be electrical connectors behind the panel so you should do this regardless.
2
Pry off any power control switches from the panel with a trim stick--these are usually installed on the armrest--and disconnect their electrical connectors. Disconnect the window crank, if the door uses one, by inserting a hooked tool into the hole or rubbing a rag behind the crank to disengage the clip.
3
Remove any smaller trim panels, especially those that cover up any mounting screws to the main door panel. This will include the triangular panel near the mirror that you must unscrew and the panel around the door handle that requires the trim stick.
4
Remove all the retaining screws to the door panel with a Phillips head screwdriver, then lift it up and off of the door and disconnect all other electrical connectors, including the connectors to the window switch panel and the seat heater switch if necessary.
5
Insert the replacement door panel onto the door's retaining clips, attaching any electrical connectors that need to be connected at this point. If the new panel did not come with any clips, remove the clips from the old panel and install them onto the new panel.
6
Connect all other trim panels, electrical connectors, switches and window cranks in reverse order of removal.

in the radiator to block any leaks, and so on managed to reduce the singing somewhat. But when I found out, many dollars later, that all she had needed was a new $2 radiator cap, I was made abruptly aware of two things: v* Tweety was mine, and my responsibility. If she didn't work, I wasn't going to be able to, either. V0 It would be impossible to enter this symbiotic relationship properly if I didn't know anything about her, because the garage bills were going to send both of us down the drain. Introduction So I conned a friend of mine (who happened to have two sets of automotive tools) into taking an auto shop class with me at a local adult education center. I discovered that cars are pretty simple things to deal with. Instead of a bewildering array of weird metal objects and miles of hoses that threatened to blow up if I turned a screw in the wrong direction, I soon found that a car is just a series of simple Rube Goldberg mechanisms linked together (with a computer thrown in now and then that even professional mechanics need specialists to deal with). Most maintenance, tune-ups, and many repairs involve only a few, isolated gadgets, and cars are very good about sending out signals telling you clearly what's wrong — if you know how to hear, see, smell, or feel them. Before long, it was no longer enough to be able to communicate with a mechanic; I wanted to be the mechanic myself whenever possible. I learned that the best way to work on a vehicle is to handle it like a baby — take a firm grip on things and do the job without mincing around. Not only did I save money, but Tweety began running better, and I found that I was having fun! To share the good news with everyone else, I sat down and wrote the first edition of this book. I called it.4ufo Repair for Dummies because that's the only title that I would have been willing to take a chance on before I realized how easy this stuff really is. Doing it yourself can really pay off in terms of dollars and cents. The major difference between doing the work yourself and taking it to a professional is that professional mechanics often try the most potentially lucrative solution first. If that doesn't do it, they try the next thing, and continue to try things until they hit the right one. This method can cost you a bundle. On the other hand, when you do the diagnosing, you can try the cheaper solutions first. For example, if your engine has been overheating constantly, you replace the radiator cap, pressure-test the system, and check the coolant level and the thermostat before buying and installing a new water pump. And if it finally comes down to changing the pump, you try to find a rebuilt one and install it yourself (which is usually not difficult). The money you save is well worth the effort. 90 Car Insurance 1996 toyota tacoma regular cab 317983

With this book as your guide to auto repair, you may discover that your car stops being a mystery and begins to be fun to hang around with. You may even, as I did, enter into the closest relationship you'll ever have with an inanimate object. Of course, the term inanimate isn't really accurate. When you realize that a car exhibits most of the symptoms of life — it's self-propelled, reacts to outside stimuli, consumes fuel and discharges wastes, and even manages to sing a little tune now and then — it's really hard not to respond to it as though it were another living thing. Of course, how far you go along with this idea is your own business. It's not a prerequisite for getting into auto repair, but it helps. Auto Repair For Dummies Houl 1 Picture \!ou In order to make this book as relevant, readable, and enjoyable as possible, I envisioned it as a friendly conversation with the kind of person I felt would want to read it. Here's the mental portrait of my readers that I kept in mind: j> You're intelligent and may know a great deal about a lot of things (law, business, literature, medicine, and other nonautomotive subjects), but you need some help when it comes to cars. u* You're tired of living as a "closet dummy" who nods and smiles at the incomprehensible mutterings of your mechanic, only to end up shelling out money for repairs that you neither fully understand nor always need. V* You've decided that it simply isn't worth the extra money to have other people do things for you that you can do yourself. W You're tired of other people assuming (especially if you're a teenager or a woman) that you aren't capable of handling repairs yourself. e* You're tired of feeling helpless in an emergency and want to be able to troubleshoot and deal with breakdowns and accidents so that you can cope with the unexpected. v* You want to keep a good vehicle in good condition without paying dearly to have someone else do the maintenance, or you simply want to keep your old heap running just a little longer without spending a lot of money on it.

v^ You either want the satisfaction of doing it yourself, or you just want to save a few bucks by not having to rely on the whimsy of fate and the expertise of mechanics for every little hiccup. W You want to maintain your vehicle without devoting every weekend, weeknight, and spare lunch hour poring over the intricacies, details, and mysteries of the internal combustion engine. v* You've realized (I hope!) that a vehicle that runs inefficiently because it's poorly maintained pollutes the environment, and you want to do something to turn that around. HovO This Book Is Organized If you're eager to get started (or at least willing to read on while reserving judgment), then let me tell you a bit about what this book does and doesn't cover. Basically, it covers everything you need to know to care for and maintain your vehicle, from what tools you need (whether you borrow or buy them), to how to perform a tune-up, to how to fix common problems. To help Introduction you find information easily, this book is divided into six parts, each containing chapters that deal with a particular topic. The following sections describe the information that you can find in each part. Part I: Getting Started If you want the basics, this is the part for you. I cover things that everyone who drives should know, like how decide whether you want to do a job yourself, how to get the hood open, how to use a jack and change a tire, and how to take anything apart and put it back together again. A monthly under-thehood check that can prevent 70 percent of highway breakdowns, and a bunch of easy repair jobs, should transform you from an "I-can Y-do-it-myselfer" into a hands-on mechanic. I also describe the tools that you'll need at one time or another if you plan to do regular maintenance and simple repairs, and I give you pointers on what you can borrow and what you should buy. Part II: What Makes It Go>

This part begins with a simple overview of how a standard internal combustion engine works and how various systems work together to get a vehicle started, keep it running, and bring it to a stop. Subsequent chapters provide a closer look at each system — electrical, fuel, cooling, transmission, and so on — on a part-by-part basis. You'll be relieved to know that I explain everything in everyday terms, with no jargon, no unnecessary technical details, and lots of simple illustrations. If alternatively fueled vehicles strike your fancy, you'll find information on how diesel, electric, fuel cell, hybrid, and other innovative engines work, and the advantages and disadvantages of each kind. Because the key to doing any job is to understand what you're working on and how it functions, I strongly recommend that you read the chapter in this part that deals with the system you want to work on before you head for the chapter that tells you how to do the specific job. Part III: Keeping \lour Car in GoodCondition, System by System Here, you can find out how to perform regular maintenance on your vehicle: change the oil and coolant, do basic tune-ups, check the tires, maintain the brakes, and more. By following the detailed instructions in this part, you can keep your vehicle running longer and more efficiently and lessen the likelihood of major problems that could send it to "The Great Used-Car Lot in the Sky." Auto Repair For Dummies Part IV: Dealing With On~the*RoadEmergencies This part helps you deal with problems that may occur while you're away from home. It shows you how to decipher such symptoms as weird noises, smoke, smells, and leaks to determine what's wrong (we call this troubleshooting in Carspeak) and what to do if your car drops dead on the road. If it's safe and fun to do the work yourself, I tell you how to do it. If the job is just too hairy to deal with yourself, I tell what to look for so that, when you do talk to a mechanic, you can describe the problem in the terms the mechanic needs to hear and evaluate whether the service you're getting is good, poor, or even necessary. This part also tells you how to find a good mechanic, decipher a mechanic's invoice, and get satisfaction on complaints if, despite your best efforts, you run into problems with anything you buy. Part V: Helping \lour Vehicle Look Its Best Because keeping a vehicle clean — inside and out — can extend its life and value, in this part I cover washing, waxing, and removing stains from the body and all the interior surfaces, plus how to repair the small dings, dents, and rust spots that cost big bucks at body shops. Part VI: The Part of Tens
